Coordinator Proposal submitted · 2026 round

Vocational education meets the reality of modern enterprise software: ERP4Skills brings hands-on ERP skills into training and continuing education - aligned with European qualification levels EQF 3 to 5.

What it's about

In many companies, ERP software is the backbone of everyday work - from purchasing through production to billing. In vocational education, by contrast, it often falls short. Those being trained rarely learn on the software companies actually use.

ERP4Skills closes this gap: hands-on learning paths and clearly described competence profiles that enable trainees and professionals to handle modern enterprise software confidently - aligned with European qualification levels EQF 3 to 5 and thus portable across countries.

What makes it special

Not theory about software, but ability on the software. ERP4Skills translates company practice into transferable, Europe-wide comparable skills - and connects vocational education to the digital reality of companies, rather than chasing after it.

What Xient brings

As coordinator, Xient is responsible for leading the project: consortium leadership, work planning, partner steering and reporting. This is exactly where what we bring from large programmes pays off - structured programme and project management that aligns partners across borders on a shared result.

On the content side we bring what we work with every day: deep understanding of ERP and SAP data worlds and the ability to structure company processes so that they become teachable and learnable. It's the same capability from our data & analytics practice - here translated into the language of vocational education.

From research into your value creation

Fluency with the software is the basis on which AI, too, first takes effect - in companies as in training. What we trial in ERP4Skills flows back into our consulting: from data & analytics through strategy & transformation to responsible AI governance. ERP4Skills is one of three projects in the 2026 round under our coordination.
