Accessibility Statement
Xient GmbH is committed to making its website accessible in line with the applicable regulations on digital accessibility. This is based on the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and the underlying European accessibility requirements, which follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.
This statement applies to the website available at xient.ai.
Conformance status
This website is largely conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. „Largely conformant\" means that the requirements are met with the exception of the individual cases listed below.
The assessment is based on a self-assessment: a structured review of the site's structure, markup, contrast values, keyboard operability and scalability. A complementary review using assistive technologies (screen readers) and with affected users is planned; the results will be incorporated into this statement.
What is already in place
The following features support accessible use of this website:
- Text alternatives for images throughout and meaningful link text.
- A clear heading structure and semantic markup of page regions (navigation, main content, footer).
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
- Good colour contrast; in lower-contrast areas, stronger contrasts are applied when the system setting „increase contrast\" is active.
- Support for the operating system settings for colour inversion and high contrast, as content is delivered as genuine image and text elements.
- Respect for the system setting to reduce motion.
- Freely scalable content: the site remains usable when zoomed to 200 % and beyond; zoom is not disabled.
Non-accessible content
To the best of our current knowledge, the following limitations may apply:
- Embedded documents (e.g. PDF files) and content provided by third parties may not be fully accessible.
- Final confirmation through testing with assistive technologies is still pending; individual barriers not yet identified cannot therefore be ruled out.
If you encounter barriers that are not listed here, please let us know using the contact options below.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 1 July 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment. It will be updated when the website changes and after complementary reviews.
