GREEN-DIGI-VET - green-digital skills for vocational education

Coordinator Proposal submitted · 2026 round

The green and the digital transition only succeed with the right skills. GREEN-DIGI-VET brings them into technical and vocational education - with partners in Ghana, Uganda and Ethiopia.

A greened building against a blue sky

What it's about

Climate change and digitalisation are changing work worldwide - most of all where training is scarce. Anyone who wants to shape the green and the digital transition needs people who can do both.

GREEN-DIGI-VET strengthens technical and vocational education (TVET) with green-digital skills and brings European experience together with local knowledge. At its heart are learning offerings that combine green technologies and digital tools - and that are anchored where they are meant to take effect.

What makes it special

Not top-down knowledge transfer, but enablement on equal terms: jointly developed curricula, transferable and locally anchored, designed for impact rather than paper.

Where it works

Partnerships are planned in Ghana, Uganda and Ethiopia - three countries where green-digital qualification achieves particularly much.

What Xient brings

As coordinator, Xient leads the project: we run the consortium, structure work packages and milestones and steer partners across continents. This programme and project management strength is our core contribution - the same one with which we steer complex programmes for companies and public clients to a result.

Added to this is our eye for data and didactics: the ability to structure subject content so that it becomes transferable and teachable. GREEN-DIGI-VET is one of three projects in the 2026 round under our coordination.

From research into your value creation

We think green and digital together in our consulting too - from sustainability-related reporting to responsible AI. Experience from international programmes flows directly back into our data & analytics practice and into strategy & transformation.
