What it-sa really is

it-sa in Nuremberg is Europe's largest IT security trade fair - and it should be taken for what it is: a procurement marketplace. Hundreds of vendors, from global players to specialists, in a few halls. That is not a weakness but its value: nowhere else can you build a complete picture of the vendor market, pricing logic and category maturity in two days.

Who meets whom

CISOs and security leaders from mid-sized and large companies, plus procurement, integrators and increasingly public authorities. Conversations are more concrete than at congresses - people compare here, they do not envision.

Who should make the trip

Anyone with security investments or tool consolidation ahead. And anyone who wants to check how vendors actually handle AI security - as a capability or as a facade.

Who probably should not

If you are after strategic calm - architecture questions rather than product questions - the sales pressure will wear you down. The big lines of a security architecture are not drawn at a booth.

How we read it-sa

Our cybersecurity practice deliberately sits in Gelsenkirchen, in one of the most active security ecosystems in Germany - it-sa is our annual market calibration for it. How tool variety translates into resilient security architecture: Cybersecurity at Xient.
