AI Solution Consultant (m/f/d) - AI in the reality of the enterprise

About the role

AI is changing how companies decide and work. But between an impressive prototype and AI that truly holds up in operation lies a wide gap - exactly where AI meets grown processes, real data and systems like SAP. This is where we come in.

We are creating a new role for someone who doesn't just understand AI, but makes it productive in the reality of enterprises - from mid-sized companies and hidden champions to large corporations. You translate between business, data and model, build robust solutions and keep sight of what companies really need: clarity, steerability and results that last in everyday work. Not in the lab, but in the engine room.

This is deliberately not an entry-level job. We are looking for someone who has already owned important, productive AI projects - and wants to help build something new.

Your tasks

• Design and deliver productive AI solutions - from idea to operation, not just to prototype.
• Dock AI onto enterprise reality: onto grown processes, real data and systems like SAP and other ERP landscapes.
• Use large language models and modern AI tools with purpose - selection, integration and the honest judgement of what holds and what does not.
• Turn business requirements into robust solutions and translate between business, data and model.
• Build in quality, traceability and data sovereignty - traceable AI instead of a black box.
• Bring your knowledge into the team and actively shape the new role.

Your profile

• You have already delivered complex or business-critical AI projects productively - not just experimented.
• You handle modern AI tools and large language models with confidence: prompting, integration, evaluation, limits.
• You know our environment: enterprise processes from mid-sized companies and hidden champions to large corporations - classic and modern.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a clear plus.
• A background in computer science or ML/AI helps, but is not a must - what counts is what you have achieved with AI.
• A structured, independent way of working; comfortable with the new and with uncertainty.
• Very good German and good English.

Framework

Location: Cologne region / Ruhr area, mostly remote. Scope: full-time. Start: as soon as possible.
