AI Native (m/f/d) - for people who can do AI but have no CV to prove it
What this is about
Some people can do more with AI than their CV suggests. They have been building for years, testing and scrapping and rebuilding. They run ten tools in parallel, orchestrate agents and pick up things no lecture covers yet. Some dropped out because university moved slower than the field outside. Some never enrolled.
Those are the people we are looking for. Not as an internship, not as an experiment, but as a role with real responsibility.
We work for large corporations whose systems have been running for decades and where every decision carries weight. In that setting, enthusiasm about a new model counts for little unless somebody translates it. And anyone who only knows the old world is building past the future. That translation is the work we are hiring for.
What you will do
- Work with models, agents and tools that are not yet established - and judge which of them actually holds up inside a company.
- Build prototypes that do not stay prototypes, connected to real data, real systems and real permissions.
- Help build our own products. Xient Bridge sits at the seam between SAP and Microsoft 365, Xient Trust works on trustworthy AI, Xient Resilience Intelligence on situational awareness in a crisis. Deep tech and business tech, both of them concrete.
- Join research projects with compute time on European supercomputers such as LUMI. Not a brochure line, actual access.
- Support the colleagues who are deep inside large corporate programs. You take off their plate what AI does faster, and you show them what is possible in the first place.
- Put your judgment into decisions that move money and risk, and learn along the way how to phrase it so that it lands.
What you bring
- Demonstrable work with AI, so projects, repositories, agents, tools, experiments. Show us what you built, not where you were enrolled.
- Depth in at least one direction, whether that is language models and prompting, agents and orchestration, retrieval and data integration, fine-tuning or infrastructure and operations.
- A willingness to engage with things slower than you. Legacy systems are part of that, so are alignment rounds and people who have good reasons for their caution.
- Honesty about what a model can and cannot do. Promising a client something that does not hold does more damage than good.
- German and English good enough to argue your case in both.
What we explicitly do not require is a degree, an unbroken CV, years of experience or a cover letter.
What you get here
- A budget for your tools. Licenses, APIs and credits count as work equipment here rather than a private matter, and we cover them within reason.
- Our own AI hardware, our own SAP systems and our own infrastructure, available from day one. You do not wait for approvals to start working.
- Access to European supercomputers, to research projects and to enterprise landscapes that are hard to get near otherwise.
- A salary you can live on, 42,000 to 58,000 euros a year depending on what you bring. Permanent contract.
What you will not find here
- A workplace where everything happens instantly. Corporations are slow, and we will not change that in a day.
- Anything goes, because whatever runs at a client has to be traceable and secured. We do not build things nobody can take responsibility for.
How to apply
Send us a link to something you built and three sentences on what was hard about it. That is all we need to decide whether we want to talk.
If your best project is under wraps or so far exists only in your head, just describe it to us.
